George Parizo

 I just learned that long-time Joe's Ponder, George Parizo (Sandy Beach Road) passed away in June. I have enjoyed chatting with George over the years, in person on occasion but more frequently by e-mail. He was a familiar fixture on Sandy Beach Road where he and his wife, Pat, have braved the Joe's Pond weather well into early winter and usually arrived early, sometimes before mud season was over. George often sent photos to me - lovely shots of sunrises at Joe's Pond, their Christmas tree during the holidays, their beloved puppies,  or shots taken on motorcycle trips he and Pat took through the countryside most summers.
