I apologize for not getting this obituary on until now. I had overlooked it on the Times Argus site. Here is the information on Robin Nicholson's father, Robert Cody. Robert Clinton Cody obituary

Up until a few minutes ago we weren't getting much in the way of rain, but now it's coming down quite steadily. When I went out to get the readings for CoCoRaHS at around 9 o'clock, there was still snow on the deck - only an inch or so, but I was amazed at how heavy it was. This is the kind of stuff that cab really do damage to roofs and overhangs. Our temperature is holding at 40 degrees, so there will be a whole lot of water coming off these hills today, I'm afraid. The snow in our back yard is beginning to settle around the wood piles as the rain beats down on it.

I'm sure you have been watching the news about the tsunami that is headed for Hawaii and then California. It seems there are unusual events taking place everywhere this winter. The next thing we'll be watching for here at Joe's Pond is Mud Season! Today will no doubt start things off with more slush and a skimming of very slippery mud-slime on top of the still frozen roadway underneath. This is a good time to stay home by the fire with a good book and listen to the rain on the roof.

However, I'm headed to W. Danville at some point today to do some errands, so I'll have a first-hand report on the road situation later today.
