Here are a few pictures taken this afternoon to give you an idea of our weather at the moment. It has rained gently most of the day, and I'm sure there has been a lot of melting going on, but so far the water coming out of the pond isn't as much as we'd expected. I guess it takes a little while for the pressure to build as the streams empty into the pond. You can see there is still a lot of snow everywhere, and you cannot imagine how heavy it all is with so much water content. At this point it really takes heavy equipment to move it effectively.
We went to Danville to do some errands, too, so you'll see a few pictures taken there in with the West Danville ones. Slides
Fred took this picture of Woody as we were leaving. Did you ever see such a sour expression? I guess he wasn't happy were were not going to be around to meet his demands to go out and back in every few minutes. He likes this warmer weather, but can't manage the soft, sloppy snow, so he remains frustrated, like the rest of us who are waiting for spring and bare ground.
