We have a really nice day here today. Sun is shining, blue sky above, but a few clouds here and there - warmish temperatures. Can't complain.
I heard this morning about what is expected out west. I was mostly interested in Colorado, around the Denver area where Tom and Ella Brown are at Beaver Creek. You may remember the slide show a few days ago. Ella writes that they already have way more snow than they did last year, and this morning the report I heard was for another two or three feet expected there today. The good news is, that storm is headed east, so we might get some of it later this week.
In the meantime, Fred just gave me a slide show of some of the photos our nephew, Dean Brown, Tom and Ellie's youngest son, sent of his trip to Costa Rica a week or so ago. He said it was very nice there - a business trip, but as you can see, they got in some fishing (Dean is the tall guy waving in the stern of the fishing boat - near the end of the slide show) and apparently did some tree climbing and exploring while there. He said he would definitely like to go back there. He sent us literally dozens of photos, and we just picked a few - I had trouble getting them to show up large enough, but Fred found the key. It's very nice to have an in-house help desk.

Jane,
Sue and I are currently in Durango, Colorado (southern Colorado in the San Juan mountains) and they have a boatload of snow out here - 85 inches at the base and huge piles of snow everywhere!! We had about 2 feet of light, fluffy, powder on Saturday and Sunday and the skiing for the last few days has been fantastic.
