We awoke to a beautifully sunny morning today. Last night the sky cleared and the temperature dropped to near zero. Apparently there was a sifting of snow after Fred cleared everything last evening, but only enough to make things fresh and beautiful. I took some pictures (through the windows - it was cold and I didn't want to take the time to get dressed up to go outside - maybe later!) to show you just how beautiful it is.

The top photo is what I see from my office window as I sit here blogging
to you. Then I wanted you to see the north end of the pond which is about all we can see of the pond from our living room windows. We can keep track of things going on in the channel and behind the islands, but need to go for a walk down W. Shore Road to find out what's happening further down the lake.

I noticed that our flag was absolutely quiet this morning. Such a contrast to what it's been like for several days, I though that was a nice picture, too. I never fail to be impressed with the colors of
our flag against the sky, and with the snow-laden trees, it leaves me breathless.

I hope you like the pictures. Be sure you click on them to make them bigger. Tucky Sancibrion wrote recently that she has one of our photos on her desktop. I was very pleased that she liked it that much. It always give me a lift when I change my desktop picture - it's like redecorating a room.

Enjoy your day. Keep healthy, and keep those e-mails coming!
