Upcoming Events

 There will be an Ceremony and Program on Saturday, May 17 at which time two portraits painted by local artist and art instructor Ed Kadunc of Col. Addison W. Preston, a Danville man who served in the Civil War will be unveiled. Also at this ceremony, Dr. William Minsinger, Vermont Civil War Hemlocks, will speak about Col. Preston's history in the 1st Vermont Calvary. Colby Tuller, Vermont Civil War Hemlocks, who is Student Representative for the Battlefield Preservation Trust, will speak about the Interpretive Signage Project for the Preston Display.

This Ceremony is at 2 p.m. on May 17, 2025, at the Danville Historical Society, Choate Sias House, 121 Hill Street, Danville, Vermont. This program is sponsored by a Vermont 250th Community Planning Grant with funding provided by Vermont Covered.
