After the Rain!

After all that rain yesterday (a total of 2.25 inches, according to my weather gauge) we are now looking at what roads were damaged and what items floated away as the water in the pond came up. Jim Farnsworth sent this photo of a section of someone's dock lodged on the upper east shore - between Island Drive and Camp Swampy. Check to see if you are missing part of your dock. Jim said the swim raft has no anchor; the picture below shows an i.d. number.

If you are not here, you may want to have a neighbor or friend check your property to see if everything is still there. Small items could have been blown ow washed into the water with all the wind and rain that came at us all at once yesterday afternoon. I heard this morning that culverts on some Cabot roads had some damage - this after some of the same ones were just replaced last year after the big July flood.

Let me know if you are missing something and by posting it here, we may be able to help you locate your runaway objects.

I believe it is from my camp. Heading up from StJ to fetch it. Thank you - Jerry Webber

I’m still missing a red Adirondack plastic chair. It blew off our dock Saturday night. Please call me if found. Thanks! 802-272-5437
