More on the Yesterday's Ice Incident

Today Andrea Carbonneau (Barre Ave.) shared more information about the close call that happened yesterday when Tito Hernandez went through the ice and Ray Walker rescued him. Andrea was walking her dog on Sandy Beach Road when she heard Tito's cry for help. It is very fortunate she was there. Here is a link to her Facebook page with videos. 

I haven't heard how Tito is but having been in the icy water for that long could mean some hypothermia. We hope he is doing well. Andrea said there didn't seem to be anyone around on Sandy Beach Road. She also told me the rescue crews did a great job. She also wants to remind people to be careful to keep their pets leashed.
