Overnight we got 1.5" of precipitation and I measured 3/4 in. of show at 8 a.m., and it was melting then, so I expect earlier we had considerably more. I knew the forecast was for snow in the higher elevations, but for whatever reason, I didn't think that would include us this time. What a surprise when I looked out the window this morning! The good news is that it will all be gone in a couple of hours (probably!). Just a small taste of things to come.
