A couple of peacocks were spotted on Edgewood Ave. around 12:30 today. They belong to Ariel Zevon who lives on Young's Farm Road. Her number is 802-595-9897 if anyone happens to see them again. Ariel said it is hard to catch them - they fly high! The best would be if you have bird seed, they would probably be interested in that and would hang around long enough for Ariel to come and get them. She said they are new to her homestead - and I have no idea if they are intelligent enough to know to go back to where they were being fed and cared for of if they just wander aimlessly.
I had left a message for Ariel and she has been out with her son hunting for them because other people had let her know they were seen in various locations around the pond. However, Ariel and her son didn't find them. We hope they come to no harm and eventually get back where they belong.
