We are both fine here - just busy with one thing or another and I haven't been paying attention to the blog. Now that the snow is gone, we are seeing more wildlife passing through. A couple of days ago we saw a fox and two turkeys, today there was a single turkey strolling through the back yard and when it got out near the apple tree we realized there were two more on the front lawn. We watched as the two - possibly two young males, took after the first turkey (we joked that it was probably a female) and the chase lasted fifteen

minutes or so as they raced up and down the lawn. Finally a car went by when they were down by the road and they all three fled up the hill and into the woods. We don't know how the whole thing turned out, but probably there will be 12-14 new chicks hatched as a result of that chase.
The discussion about the Ice-Out contest is still going on today. You can check the "Comments" on the Joe's Pond website home page if you are interested.
Cousin Ora in Rhode Island sent me this video today. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'm betting you will, too.
