We hope everyone is enjoying this nice stretch of weather. We heard on WCAX this morning that this haze we're seeing is from forest fires in Canada. I usually smell the smoke before I see it, but not this time.
Also, there was a short article on the news this morning about a large number of fish being found dead along the shores of Lake Morey. The fish and wildlife people investigated and found it is being caused by a certain bacteria that is the result of rapid temperature change in the lake water plus stress from spawning and is considered more or less normal.
If you don't have your tickets for the steak dinner on Saturday night at the JPA pavilion, better give Larry Rossi a call at 802-684-3923. As of yesterday there were still tickets, but there are a limited supply, so better get them now.
