I don’t know that this blog is becoming a “rallying site” for anti-wake boaters. My original comments were made after attending the last JPA meeting and hearing reports of shoreline damage and of wake boats doing “donuts” in the second pond. I, myself, have not had a problem and if every wakeboard owner behaved as responsible as Mr. Gerrish then there wouldn’t be a problem, I’m sure; but, it sounds like that isn’t the case – hence the call for regulations. Also, there must be similar problems in other bodies of waters in the state or else Senator Rogers would not have put forward his bill back in January.

We thank everyone who weighs in on issues such as this, and will always publish both sides of an issue as they are received - as long as everyone remains civil. It is good to have discussions and hopefully we all learn from them and begin to understand other's viewpoint.
