A reader (and fan) of the blog has brought to my attention a political ad has appeared here.  I apologize for that.  I do not intend my blog to support any party.  We have so much of the political stuff bombarding us from all directions every day, the last thing anyone needs is more of the same on this little local news blog.  

I generally don't pay any attention to the ads that appear here - it is my understanding they are placed according to the interests of the traffic on the website.  As we all know, our on-line history is an open book as there are programs that track all of that and that's how ads are picked.  I do have options to filter what does or does not go on, and we are taking action to prevent political ads - doesn't matter what party, we'll get rid of all of them.  I appreciate knowing about the one that has popped up, and I promise I'll pay more attention to the ads on this page from now on.  The ads do provide a little income to help support the web site, and that's why I agreed to them when setting up the blog; however, I do not wish to have them offend anyone.
