This just in from Henretta Splain, one of the coordinators for the Wine Tasting event on Sunday. Here's what Henretta says:
There was great support from not only the Joe's Ponders but
residents from the surrounding areas. All our wineries and
spirits folks were great and Butters was a HIT! The Creamery
contributed smoked salmon platters and Baliwick's on Mill was
there with an assortment of different bruscettas. Goodfellas
was there with a sampling and there were tasty treats from
Bentley's not to mention the Sumptuous Syrups lady with her
blackberry and lemon ginger lemonades. It was a great event
for the library and it was nice to be able to showcase local
businesses. Of course the JPA Pavilion was a beautiful
setting and we couldn't have asked for better weather!! We are
hoping that this will become and annual event for the library.
Henretta said she will try to get some photos for us so those of us who couldn't be there can see what we missed!
