This came this evening from Evelyn and Ray Richer -
 
Hi Jane...
This is a quick update... The Cabot loon family is doing fine and growing
strong and fast... the West Danville family is not doing as well... the
chicks have been fighting since they met each other... unfortunately
sibling rivalry has done one of the chicks in  (the second chick is
weaker and gets the worst of the battle...)  Ray had witnessed a very
harsh battle between them about 4 pm today... he then went back out this
evening and the second chick was missing...

So, sorry to report, there is only one chick in the West Danville family...
