We've had a little bit of rain today, but it's been pretty warm, so nobody minded much. Fred went to recycle today and took pictures in the Hardwick area. I'm doing a slide show - thought you might like to see how lush and green everything is getting. Also, at the end, you will see the new Walden Town Garage. That's some sand pile they have there!
Our kitchen is operating again, thanks to John Hammer coming last evening with his roto-rooter. I don't mind "roughing it" for a while, but it's surprising how dependent we (I) am on being able to use the kitchen sink when I'm getting a meal together. Seems like everything I want to do requires water or washing.
We went to Montpelier to pick up the 2013 Ice-Out Contest tickets today. Yep, we're getting ready to start the new season already. We'll have some at Hastings Store and Joe's Pond Country Store in a couple of weeks, and members will be able to pick theirs up at the spring meeting on May 26th.
