WALDEN HILL ROAD:  The water main break has been repaired and water services are restored.  Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconveniences this caused.

TRAFFIC ALERT
FOR
THURSDAY, May 10, 2012
Project update:  Utility duct bank installation is nearing completion – about a month ahead of schedule!  Hopefully, we will be wrapping this work up within the next week so the utility companies can get started on their portion of the project.

THANK YOU for all of your patience during this work, especially with the alternating street closures around the Green.

Smith Street - Access from Route 2 onto Smith Street will be closed to all traffic during work hours for the remainder of the end of the week.  Motorists will need to use alternate routes to access Smith Street.

Drainage crews will need to cross both Peacham Road and Park Street tomorrow to install new drainage.

Thursday Morning - Peacham Road – Closed between Route 2 and Park Street.   Motorists will need to use Park Street while Peacham is closed.  Peacham will be open in the afternoon.

Thursday Afternoon - Park Street – Closed to all traffic at the intersection of Peacham Road near Reid & Balivet Law Offices.   All motorists will need to access Park Street from Route 2.

ROUTE 2 WORK:

Crews will continue reclaiming and grading operations on Route 2 between the Passumpsic Bank and the west end of the project.  This work is anticipated to last through the end of the week.
This work will require a moving construction package as operations progress along Route 2.   Motorists will experience alternating one-way traffic around the construction zone.
