Stan and Bill invite the community to an open house at Butters Restaurant in Cabot Village on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. 

See what they're doing and sample a couple of their specialties, like hand-cut fries and home-made chicken wings. They're opening this weekend, and will offer a Mothers Day buffet from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The phone number at the restaurant is 563-2422.

In case you don't know the who and where of this new restaurant, the new owners are Stan and Kathy Linkovich of Lyndonville.  Stan and their son, Will, will be on hand daily, Wednesdays through Saturdays, and Kathy and their daughter, Ali, will be on hand when needed - Ali helping as soon as she is out of school - she's a senior at Lyndon Institute.  The restaurant is next door to the building that housed Harry's Hardware, across the street from the town hall.

WATER MAIN BREAK

WALDEN HILL ROAD:  A water main was broken on Walden Hill this afternoon while crews were installing drainage pipe. 

At this time, all of Walden Hill is without water.  Crews are working to repair the break and restore water to Walden Hill as soon as possible.
