Please come join us at Faith in Action, Masonic Hall, Main Street on April 12th as Winnie Mundinger shows us how to make a delicious meal from the food we receive in our Food Share boxes. We will start cooking at 10 AM and eat the meal when we finish around noon! There are no requirements for this social: you can be young/older, expert cook/novice, receive Food Share food or not! Just come ready to help and learn, and come HUNGRY!!! Bring your neighbors and friends! Call 563-3322 with questions.

CABOT RECREATION DEPARTMENT

TUESDAY April 10th

Please come if you have an interest in keeping youth baseball, soccer, and basketball alive and thriving in Cabot. Due to Rec Dept. staffing changes there are many opportunities to get involved. PLEASE come to this meeting and learn about what needs to be done and let us know how you are able to help keep youth recreation programs running.

"Announcing a dramatic reading of a 2-part American history play called BOOM AND BUST, written by Vermont playwright Tom Blachly, and to be performed in two parts, as follows:
"BOOM AND BUST, PART 1, Saturday, April 14th, at 2:00 p.m., in Fellowship Hall, at Bethany Church, 115 Main Street, Montpelier.

"BOOM AND BUST, PART 2, Sunday, April 15th, at 2:00 p.m., in Fellowship Hall, at Bethany Church, 115 Main Street, Montpelier.

"BOOM AND BUST covers the years 1921-1932, and documents the Jazz Age, the 1929 stock market crash, and the coming of the New Deal. Characters include Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt and their family, and Presidents Warren Harding, Calvin Coolidge, and Herbert Hoover, among others. To be read by local Vermont actors. Admission is free. The audience is invited to stay after the reading to provide feedback to the author and the cast. For more info call Tom at 426-3955."
