The Class of 2016 at Cabot School are selling citrus as a fund raiser for their planned trip to Washington D.C. You'll find information on our web site Comments Page

Also, I received this notice yesterday:

At the last Cabot Worx meeting, Gary Gulka promised to send the Economic Development Section of the Proposed Town Plan to the group. Here it is. [Note: I cannot include it here because it is a pdf file, but you can e-mail me Jane Brown or the Cabot Development Committee to have it e-mailed to you.] There will be a Planning Commission hearing on December 15 on the whole Proposed Town Plan, prior to the Commission presenting the plan to the Selectboard. The Selectboard is expected to hold its own hearing on the plan before accepting it.
Also, please mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 14, at 7:00 p.m. for the next Cabot Worx meeting. The group agreed to change the regular date of meetings to the second Wednesday of each month, to avoid conflicts with UDAG, School Board and the Selectboard. Hopefully, we will settle in to a regular date that works.

The Economic Development Section of the Proposed Town Plan is an interesting document. Even if you have nothing to add or comment about, you'll learn a great deal about the Town of Cabot as it is today and what the committee hopes to achieve for the town's future. As you can see by the above notice, there is still a long way to go before the plan is accepted, so if you have suggestions or comments, there is still time to attend the hearings.
