Several people have asked about that third little black pig that went astray earlier in the week. We just checked with our neighbor and she said he came home all by himself - after all the human hullabaloo and auto traffic quieted down. Smarter than we thought!
Today promises to be a really nice day. A few storms last night gave us another half inch of rain, but cleared out the humidity. Right now my back yard thermometer is reading 58 degrees in the shade, there's bright sunshine, birds are singing, everything is fresh, clean and wet from the rain last night, and the forecast is for temperatures to be in the 70s. That's the kind of June weather we like.
