Here is what I found out from Mert Leonard in Danville this morning regarding the Rte. 2 Project and the the intersection of Hill St. with Rte. 2 where there have been lots of accidents:
There will be a Red-Yellow-Green stop and go traffic light at Hill Street when completed.
Contractor bids on the project are due this Friday Mar 18th. Actual construction starting date is expected to be mid to late April, but will depend on the Contractor - State final contract agreement, (as well as the final snow storm).
I have started an info page on the Town Website, http://danvillevt.com/Route_2_Project.htm
I will be posting dates and info there as I receive them from the State and/or Contractor. Mert.
