This came to me today:
Please invite the Cabot neighbors to a meeting for a work day for 350.org, Bill McKibben's grassroots international campaign that's building a movement to unite the world around solutions to the climate crisis.
There will be a world wide work day on 10-10-10 to help reach that goal. 1400 events are planned in over 100 countries and there is a small but determined group meeting on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM at the Center for Agricultural Economy on Main Street in Hardwick (next to Claire's Restaurant) to plan a event on 10-10-10 right here to "inspire the world to rise to the challenge of the climate crisis—to create a new sense of urgency and of possibility for our planet".
Please bring your energy and creative thinking and your commitment to help us reduce CO2 emissions to the 350 ppm level. What will you be doing to Live Smarter on 10-10-10?
