Some of you may have seen this article in the Times Argus about Palmer Legare. Palmer is the son of Amanda Legare who owns Amanda's Greenhouse on Rt. 215 in Cabot. Palmer graduated from Cabot High and was an advocate for the oppressed and under privileged even while still a student there. He has been in tight spots before, causing his mom considerable anxiety, but nothing quite like this, I think. We hope whatever his decision, he will eventually make it home safely. Here is the article: Palmer Legare in Guatemala
Also, today is the first day for a week that the Caledonian Record didn't have the Pat O'Hagan disappearance on the front page, and in fact I didn't find any reference to it in today's paper. I find it troubling that apparently nobody saw anything or anyone unusual at her house that Friday afternoon a week ago. At least, nothing the media has been told about. We just have to trust the authorities know things they aren't divulging in order to better solve the mystery.
