Richard Anonymous, if you're watching this blog, I have a message for you from my cousin, Polly Coffin:
Yes, Druss did teach in Hanover, N.H. for a year. We lived in Orford! His first real job after college was teaching in Norwich, Vt. and then they combined schools and he crossed the river and taught in Hanover. Then he left to go to grad school. Richard is correct! I think he taught language arts and social studies. Druss really talked a lot about those students--they were evidently very memorable!! I'd love to know more about Richard!?
Richard, send me (janebrown@fairpoint.net) your e-mail address and I'll forward it to Polly. It's always nice when I can help people make connections like this. I bet there may be other people both you and Polly knew from that area/era.

Today is recycling day for us. Fred is gathering the stuff now and will head out soon, and will stop at our neighbor's to get her recycling and update her computer. That makes it an all-morning task, but he does it only every three weeks.
I'm delving into the material I brought home from the library yesterday. Some interesting stuff in that box! Makes the day go by quickly.
