The water level is up at least 8 inches in the pond this morning. Water is still pouring off the hills and I wouldn't be surprised if it comes up a bit more before it begins to go down. I check the water level at Walter Ruf's this morning and it was 4 inches above the cement on his waterfront. A few minutes later I was at George and Judy Anderson's and George had just found it was up 8 inches there, as well. We have let Tom Dente and Green Mountain Power know.

Tom got in touch with GMP as I did - he had a message back saying the dam was "partially deflated." They will send someone to check on it, though, so hopefully they will open it all the way. I haven't had a reply from John Voyer, the GMP rep I contacted this morning.

I took some pictures. It's a beautiful day here again. Sunshine is bright and the temperature in in the 40's - not as warm as yesterday, but quite lovely for this time of year.

Catching Up

As our lovely autumn days begin to turn a bit chill and dreary - the transition from October to November is like that  - I want to share so...
