We had 1 3/4 in. of snow overnight. I measured at 9 a.m. when there was still snow in the air, so the final depth of new snow may have been slightly more. The temperature is in the mid-20's and more snow is forecast for the coming week.
I mentioned this earlier, but in case you forgot or didn't see it, there is an organ concert at the United Church of Cabot this afternoon (Sun., December 6) at 4 p.m. Isaac James will perform some of his favorite Christmas selections on organ. The program will be about 1 1/2 hr. with a short intermission. Donations will be accepted to benefit the continued maintenance and improvement of the church's historic organ.
