Cabot School Board chair person Chris Tormey returned my call this evening. His e-mail address is:ctormey@luhs18.org (Click address to contact by e-mail.)
Mr. Tormey explained that the School Board realizes some Cabot residents with mailing addresses in Marshfield or West Danville, did not get the recent notice about Monday night's meeting, but said they will take steps to insure that all residents get information in the future.
He also mentioned that while the figures quoted by Sam Lewis in the report I posted today (see below) were basically correct, he asked that I clarify the 193 figure. He said because the State of Vermont does not include pre-kindergarten students or tuition students, their projected figure of 193 students for next year is less than the actual anticipated enrollment will likely be.
If you have questions, contact Chris at the above e-mail address, or call him at his home, 802-563-2842. Chris Tormey works at Lamoille Union High School, and lives in Cabot.
