I've just received an announcement from Liz and John Randall regarding their son, Jason's, recent wedding. Here are details and a picture. Great setting, beautiful day.

Jason Charles Randall and Kerrin Leslie Wilmarth were married in beautiful Vermont on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the 1903 West Monitor Dairy Barn in Richmond, Vermont. The wedding was officiated by the Reverend Robert A. Lee of the First Congregational Church of Burlington, VT. Rev. Lee was minister of the Mt. Sinai Congregation Church, Mt. Sinai, NY in the mid-1970's and was a very good friend of Jason's great-grandparents, Elizabeth (Weeks) and John S. Randall.

The bride’s parents are Debra and Perry Wilmarth of Salem, NH; the groom’s parents are Elizabeth "Liz" (McDowell) and John F. Randall of Joe’s Pond, Cabot, VT, and Miller Place, NY.

Jason and Kerrin met at Lyndon State College in 2006.

The maid of honor was Kerrin's best friend, Jamie Kule; the best man was Jason's brother, Matthew J. Randall. Jason's sister, Lauren E. Randall was a bridesmaid and Kerrin's brother, Kyle Wilmarth, was a groomsman.

The wedding was amazing. The sun came out just in time for the ceremony. The bagpiper played as the couple finished their vows. The wedding cake was made by Kerrin's Aunt Carol, and displayed on top was a Farmall-H toy tractor that was a gift to Jason from his parents when he was a young boy. Also displayed on the cake was an ornament of a black lab puppy - the couple have a two-year old lab named Tessie. Guests from Long Island, NY, Salem, NH, Deer Island, Canada, and from as far away as Florida, Tenn. and Arizona attended.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Lake Placid, NY.

We wish Jason and Kerrin many happy years together. I'm sure they'll be coming to Joe's Pond as often as they possibly can. Jason lived at his parents' home here on W. Shore Road while attending college, and I know how much he and his family love being here in Vermont, and I'm sure Kerrin shares that. The Farmall tractor is generational with the Randalls. I don't know how many tractors there are between John and Jason, but both enjoy restoring and using them. I'm sure you've seen pictures of some of them posted here in the past.
