I was out jogging this afternoon on Route 2 by the first pond, and saw and heard the loon. Not sure if it's "our" loon but he seemed to be saying loud and clear for all to hear, "I'm back. "
Thanks, Pam - it's good to know at least one loon is here - I think I read somewhere that loons return separately each year to the lake where they nest, and they may live for 18 years or more, so we'll probably be hearing their screams for a while yet.
