Hope to see you all at the Danville Fair tomorrow - the weather doesn't look promising, but perhaps the really hard rain and thunder storms promised for late Saturday will hold off. It was a pretty good day today for everything to get set up at the fair, and only a few flashes of lightning in the distance this evening. It's quite a weather pattern we're in this summer. According to WCAX, we've broken all records for rainfall in July, at least in St. Johnsbury and Montpelier, among other places. No surprise to us at Joe's Pond, but the water level in the pond stays pretty good and I have to say the "rubber dam" has been put to the test and passed with flying colors!

We went down to camp tonight and got a look at Theresa's new Mini Cooper. Cute little car, and should get pretty good mpg. Bob and Theresa were out in the boat, so we didn't get much information on it - but we did get a picture of it! Bob will be playing with the BelAires at the fair tomorrow night. At least the band will be in the bandstand if it rains - the rest of us? Better grab your umbrella just in case.
