Another lovely HOT day today. Real summer here at Joe's Pond. It was warm last night, but not too uncomfortable. There isn't much breeze today, so it's a good day to stay in the shade, take a dip once in a while, read a good book or have a nap!
Later in the week things are going to cool down. Here are a couple of activities you might like to take the kids to or attend yourself:

Tonight is "Creepy Crawly Critters" at the Cabot library. Click on the image on the right to enlarge it.
Then, on Friday, go to the free Concert on the Common in Cabot. Enjoy all the music and the fun of an outdoor music fest.
Free Community Concert
In Cabot: Friday 7/11 7pm
The Cabot United Church is hosting its second “Sing Away the Oil Man Blues” Free concert this Friday evening July 11th at 7pm.
The featured musicians will be former Cabot resident and expert fiddler and banjo player Andy Leader and friends, with an eclectic mix of instrumentals and vocals. Also well-known local musician Doug Peck on guitar and violin with a popular mix of songs from the 50’s and 60’s.
The concert will conclude with a musical collaboration of these musicians who, after many years, are reuniting on this program. A reception will follow.
The Concert is free, but donations to
the church oil fund are appreciated.
The Cabot United Church is located on the Common on Route 215 in Cabot Village.
