The snow is mostly gone - only some on tree branches where the sun and wind didn't hit today. We had another big (for May) snowfall last night that left 4.5 inches on my snow board when I measured this morning a little before 9 o'clock. The sun had been on it for a while and I expect there was at least 6 inches earlier. I took pictures - it was really quite beautiful if you overlooked that it was May 12, not March 12. Each of these snow storms I tell myself that this will be the last one - but it never seems to be. Maybe this is going to be another of those years when we get snow every darned month! Yes, that happened back in 1816, the Year Without A Summer. I think we've come close a few other years when there wasn't much of a growing season. Hopefully this won't be like that. Soon we will probably be complaining about extreme heat. In the meantime, enjoy the snow pictures!
