We don't often have this sort of thing to report, but in the wee hours this morning there was someone being very inconsiderate out on the water. This came today from a blog reader:

There was a boat riding around the pond early this AM, around 2:30 AM with music blasting. They went by our place [on the shore of Sandy Beach Road] twice and I know that they also went to second pond. Many people are complaining this morning. 

Hope it doesn't happen again tonight.

 

This is a difficult thing to deal with, but if anyone knows who this might have been, let us know; or if you feel comfortable doing so, let them know this disturbed a lot of people and really isn't acceptable. It may have been renters or youngsters who were just being thoughtless - sometimes people don't realize how sound is magnified and carried on the water. We want everyone to enjoy being at the pond, but they also need to be mindful of others who are here, as well.
