Wakeboard Boats
There were quite a few complaints about shore damage being caused by waves generated by wakeboard boats at today’s JPA meeting. Since the JPA has no policing powers, I would think a possible approach would be to involve the state in shoreline protection by introducing legislation/rules to restrict boats in wakeboard mode to areas at least 500 feet from any shoreline to protect against shore erosion and ensuing water quality degradation.
