We were traveling on I-91 yesterday, and the colors are more green than autumnish, and we noticed the fields and other grassy expanses looked lush and green, more like spring than fall. It was a beautiful sunny, warm day - the temperature mostly in upper 70s. Can't complain about that!
When we left St. Johnsbury on our way home, we decided to take Route 2B just to see how the repaving work is coming along there. It was around 5 o'clock, and we thought work might have been suspended for the day, but the crews were still out there, rolling out the new pavement. The road is very smooth, and we were held up only a matter of a couple minutes to let some trucks pass. There was no regular traffic on the road.
