We now know who pitched in to jump-start putting away curtains at the pavilion on Sunday. It seems nine people showed up for pickelball and there's only room for eight to play. Jack LaGue volunteered to be odd-man-out, and instead got his morning exercise by taking down the curtains. When the ball players finished, they pitched in to help Jack.
Thank you, Jack and helpers - a big "high five" from Don!
This message came from V.P. Don Sherwood:
It sure was interesting to learn who took the Rec Area curtains down early
Sunday morning. So a big "Thank you" should go out to Jack LaGue and Dave
Kidney for doing that part of the job. The pickle ballers (8) helped fold
them up. Not sure of these names. Then around 1 pm the team consisting of
Frank Dolan, Jamie Dimick, Bill Keach, Mike Yesalonia, Charlie Livandale and
Don Sherwood labeled and re-folded the curtains, freshened up the numbers
and stacked then inside the kitchen in numerical order for easy
re-installing in the spring. Many hands makes for quick and easy work! A big
"Thank you" also goes out them. --Don
Don told me he still doesn't know who the other pickle ballers were who helped Jack and Dave Kidney, but he thanks all for their help.
