Change is Not Just for Weather

We're in for some colder weather for the next few days.  We had snow on the ground again this morning, and unlike yesterday, not all of it melted.  Snow is in the forecast for later tonight, with bad driving conditions possible by morning.  I heard we might get 2-3 inches, and while that doesn't sound like a lot, it is enough to make pavement very slippery, especially with temperatures in the teens.

We have been working on a new look for the website, and it is now ready and at least some pages have been redone to work better with hand-held devices.  Home page is done, and the page with the story about Hastings Store has been done using the new design.  In the process, we decided to change the color scheme to liven things up a bit.  Other pages have a similar color background as home page, but have not been actually redone.  We just wanted all the pages to have the same general color combination so you'd know if/when you leave the Joe's Pond site for another one.

The blog is separate from the website, and I decided to give that an update, too.

I decided my desktop needed a change, too, so I just switched to this picture, taken a couple weeks ago from the Cabot Plains Cemetery hill.  I like it almost as much as the one I put up a while back that was life-size of Woody.  I really didn't need another "Woody" in my office - he's usually stretched out on the desk beside me anyway - but it was a nice picture of him.

So let us know how you like or don't like the new look on the website - but especially, let us know how it works for you on your smartphone, iPad, tablet or whatever you use.
