Loons and Kitty Cats

Today Mark Collins sent these pictures of these adult loons in the big pond, taken while he was fishing in the vicinity of the islands in early August.  They are very pretty birds, for sure, and we thank Mark for sending the pictures. 
 
 Tonight on Front Porch Forum Jennifer  Persons posted a notice that she found an apparently lost and very hungry young orange and white cat in Danville today.  She said he is wearing a flea collar.  She was able to catch him and is hoping to find his owner.  If you know of anyone who has lost a cat fitting that description, please give Jenn a call - 563-2058.
