We have a new listing on our "Camps for Sale" page - only it isn't actually a camp, but a lovely piece of property overlooking Joe's Pond - a perfect setting for a home.  Take a look.

We're heard the Furloni cottage on West Shore Road has been sold.  I don't have the information on it yet, but will get that soon.  We are sorry the Furloni family will no longer be directly associated with Joe's Pond.  Sylvia Furloni told me the cottage was built in 1926 by her father.  That would make it one of a number of cottages on the pond that have stayed in the same family for many decades.  As I've said before, times change, families change; Sylvia had over 80 years of memories at that spot - we know the new owners will build their own memories, and we hope they will be just as long and joyous as hers.

Another Joe's Pond family that has wonderful memories of Joe's Pond, and who return regularly is the Fitts clan.  Homer wrote this week that Sue and family will be at the pond until Labor Day - they will be arriving from different directions within the next few days.  Homer and Margaret will be here - Homer wants to be sure you have their phone number - 802-563-2586.  You can be sure they will be taking advantage of every nice day, every fun activity possible in the next four weeks, and being with family and friends is what they most look forward to.

These are exceptionally nice days weatherwise.  There was a little rain late yesterday and during the evening, but today is another of those bright, low humidity, breezy days that just put a spring in your step.  Last night was cool - perfect for sleeping.  It doesn't get much better than this.

Spring Mix!

I started this a couple days ago but got kind of busy and never got back to it. I had posted about the Route 2 construction, but that notice...
