Work Update
Danville Route 2 Project
Project:  Danville FEGC 028-3(32)

Friday, June 7, 2013
Crews are coming in today to mill on Route 2 in anticipation of final wearing course paving.  Milling will take place at the joints where the new pavement meets the pavement placed last fall.  This work will reduce travel to alternating one-way on Route 2 throughout the day.

WEEK OF 6/10/13

ROUTE 2 – Crews will finish up curb installation along Route 2 in the center of Town.
SIDEWALK – Crews will be installing new sidewalks throughout the project all week.
Two-way traffic will be maintained as much as possible.  However, Route 2 may be reduced to alternating one-way traffic in the center of Town at various times during the week.  Motorists should expect and plan for traffic delays when traveling in and around the project.
