We've had warmish weather and rain showers all day.  Not even a hint of sunshine.  Everything is soggy and cold and the pond has opened up again.  I really thought it might be frozen enough so a few showers wouldn't do it in, but that isn't the case.  It got into the mid 30s and now most of our snow is gone, too.  There are icy spots where the snow was packed, but with more warm weather in the forecast, and more showers into Wednesday before things cool down again.  More freaky weather shouldn't surprise any of us; this kind of see-saw weather is becoming the norm.

One thing we need to remember is that some spots may ice over when the temperatures begin to drop, so caution when driving is in order.  Be prepared for anything.

Waterford School sixth, seventh and eighth grade students are doing the musical, "Guys and Dolls Jr." this weekend.  Our granddaughter, Jo-Ann will be in it, so we're hoping to get to one of the shows.  It is being performed at the St. Johnsbury Middle School on Friday, Dec. 7th at 7 p.m. and on Saturday Dec. 8th at 2 p.m., admission is by donation at the door.  It's great fun to watch youngsters perform, and we're looking forward to the familiar songs like, "A Bushel and a Peck," "If I Were a Bell," and "Luck Be a Lady."  I hope the weather isn't too miserable so they'll have a good turnout.
