Dear Cabot Community Members,

Please come to the Cabot Community Meeting on Thursday, October 25th from 6:30-9pm at the Willey Building. We will be presenting a synthesis of the big ideas that Cabot community members generated at the first set of forums in September. Community members will discuss the ideas and champion directions that they think will have the greatest long-term benefit for Cabot, vote for their top priorities for action, and can join task groups to move them forward if they would like to. This is a dynamic and interactive session and a great opportunity for Cabot to set some positive direction for the future. All Cabot community members are invited to come and help set priorities for action for the future of the community.

Through this process, community members have a tremendous opportunity to set bold, transformational goals for Cabot's future. The program is most successful when a diverse representation of the community participates. So we encourage you to spread the word to family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, businesses, service organizations, high school students, seniors, people who care about Cabot... Here are some ways you can help:
-      print a handful of flyers (see right, click to enlarge) and take them with you to your next club meeting or gathering or tack on bulletin boards
-      post the flyer in your business/house of worship/school newsletter
-      post on a local website
-      post on facebook (here’s a link to share: http://vtrural.org/taxonomy/term/202/all)
-      forward on to your list serve of community volunteers or business people in town
-      post on Front Porch Forum – share your thoughts about the process there
-      word of mouth - let people know about the event and about the process!

This process is open to everyone and everyone is invited and encouraged to come!

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you there,
