Remember that the Cabot Select Board will meet tonight at 7 o'clock to decide on the proposal to allow ATVs on Cabot roads. Very few roads will not be impacted by this ordinance, and it may be in effect for at least two years. This is a major decision and should be weighed carefully. If you feel strongly, one way or the other on this, you should go to the meeting tonight at the Willey Building (downstairs) and let the SB know your feelings. You do not have to be a voter in the Town of Cabot. If you are a property owner, you have a right to be heard. If you have personal experience or have knowledge of how such an ordinance has affected other towns, your input should be considered. You will find a copy of the ordinance on the Cabot website. Read it carefully. If you cannot attend the meeting, call the Town Clerk, Tara Rogerson, and let her know your opinion. The number to call is: 802-563-2279, or send an e-mail to her: tcocabot@fairpoint.net
