WHAT A GREAT NIGHT LAST NIGHT. WENT TO SEE DANVILLE WIN THE BASKETBALL GAME OVER WEBSTERVILLE. I SAW SO MANY DANVILLE FRIENDS, IT WAS JUST TERRIFIC.

I don't know if Margaret is as much of a basketball fan as Homer, but I'm sure she's a good sport about it. I know I find those bleachers really tough on my back - but I go to our granddaughter's games whenever I can. I expect it will get more intense if she makes the team in high school.
It's raining this afternoon, just as predicted. I guess it started around 2 o'clock, and I can see things in the back yard emerging from the snow as it is being washed away. Bill and Diane Rossi went skiing this morning, and I'm sure they had a great time - it was warm and sunny. The temperature outside my office is at 49 degrees but tomorrow will be cold again, with snow expected. This is pretty much the weather pattern we've experienced all winter - and here we are nearly time to change the clocks again. So it must be we're going to have a change in the pattern soon. Or not. Our summer could be just alternating hot and wet instead of cold and wet!
