Ron Lay-Sleeper of Cabot will participate in a poetry reading on Sept. 23rd at the
Memorial Building in Hardwick at 7 PM sponsored by the library. Ron has
been writing poetry for 40 years, starting to write because of reading
great poetry. He writes about the stuff of the heart, relationships and
sometimes politics. Joining him will be Peggy Sapphire and Martha Zweig.

Help support theater in Cabot.
David Book [author and retired former teacher at Cabot School] will perform his recently authored historical monologue titled, "A High Price to Pay: A Heavy Burden To Bear," at the Willey Building Stage on Cabot's Fall Foliage Day, September 27th, at 3:30 p.m.
This is a one-time, debut performance that is being sponsored by the Cabot Library, The Cabot Chronicle and private donations.
We are honored that David has agreed to exhibit his work in Cabot.
We encourage everyone to attend and if you cannot, consider supporting David and the Arts in Cabot by pledging a private donation to this performance.
