We have a JPA board meeting this morning, and on my way there I'm going to leave at Hastings Store the Ice-Out tickets we give to our members each year to distribute. If you haven't picked yours up at one of our regular meetings, look for them there - you'll find an envelope with your name and ten tickets inside. It will be a big help to Diane and me if you pick them up and return the stubs with $1 for each. This way we get a bunch of tickets into the hands of our members, and many of you always take lots more to sell. Hastings Store has tickets, also, but you can contact Diane Rossi or me any time. We know this will be another successful year.
After lunch, we're off to the Cabot Historical Society for a few hours. It is the Cabot Alumni Association's annual meeting day and we're hoping to have lots of visitors at the historical museum. Fred is going with me - we were short on volunteers to staff the place, so he was drafted. He's a good sport about this sort of thing, so I try not to impose on him too often.
Once we get home and take a short breather, we'll be off to the fair. Son Bob is playing with the Bel Aires this evening, and we expect most of the family and lots of friends will be there - always fun to also see people we only see once a year when we go to Danville Fair.
Now I need to get going and pull stuff together for the day. Have a good one - hope to see you at the fair!
