Vermont Emergency Management has supplied 1,000 sandbags for Cabot residents to use in the event of flooding. The bags are at the town garage and volunteers are needed to fill them. Please bring a shovel. Filled bags are available at the town garage and on the lawn of the Willey Building. For further information contact town clerk Tara Rogerson at 917-2992.

Earlier today I posted a notice that volunteers are needed to help fill sand bags to prevent further flooding damage in and around Cabot. It would be great if you can help, but if you have had damage and fear the expected rain tomorrow may damage your property again, you'll find filled bags at the town garage and on the lawn of the Willey building in Cabot Village:
