Walter Ruf has let us know a former Joe's Ponder of many years, George Karnady, who now lives in Florida year around, had major heart surgery today. George and his wife, Pat, live close by Walter and his sister, Mimi, in Florida and they are good friends. Walter said George is doing well.

I'm sure George and Pat would enjoy hearing from those of you who knew them over the many years they were active with the Joe's Pond Association. George is an avid fisherman and hunter, and he always opened his "deer camp" on Joe's Pond in November for deer hunting with family and friends. They sold their cottage on West Shore Road to David and John Geer several years ago.
